The essential difference of 2-stroke or 4-stroke engines and the engine of a car is that a motorcycle / scooter often has only one oil. The oil thus not only lubricates the engine or the brakes, but all at once. In addition motorcycles / scooters engines ride at higher speeds. The oil thus reached significantly higher temperatures. Therefore, the 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines require a different oil than a car. Pro motorcycle / scooter, there is a different requirement of the oil. The SAE viscosities are the important index. A typical oil viscosity for the motorcycle / scooter is a SAE 10W-40. A 10W oil is quite fluid. A 20W-50 is also a suitable oil and thicker in consistency as a 10W-40. Choose your liters of engine oil
2-stroke or 4-stroke engines require less liters of engine oil, as a car engine. These few liters must also withstand enormous conditions. For this reason, you should use only a high quality oil.
