Mopar NV245-NV247-NV249 Transfer Case Lubricant is an OEM transfer case oil from American manufacturer Mopar, designed specifically for use in New Venture Gear (NV) NV245, NV247 and NV249 transfer cases.

Mopar NV245-NV247-NV249 Transfer Case Oil ensures that the transmission functions properly in a wide variety of operations and provides maximum traction in a wide range of conditions - especially on inclines, rough terrain or extremely slippery surfaces.

For which vehicles should Mopar NV245-NV247-NV249 Transfer Case Oil be used?

Transfer cases are installed in four-wheel drive vehicles and provide optimum torque distribution to the front and rear axles.

Transfer case oil change interval

The transfer case oil change interval varies from model to model, but is usually approx. 60.000 kilometres or every 36 months, whichever comes first.

The following quantities are required for the oil change:

NV245: approx. 1.7 litres

NV247: approx. 1.7 litres

NV249: approx. 1.2 litres

Are there alternative oil types to the original transfer case oil?

For the transfer cases NV 245, NV 247 and NV 249 the manufacturer prescribes oils with the Chrysler approval MS-10216.
